Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What products you are selling/marketing?
 A: Most of our products are made or from U.S.A. Currently, we are marketing First 
      Alert and InSinKerator products and there are more coming.

Q: Do you have the exclusive distributorship on those products?
 A: Yes, all of our products we are marketing by us, will be under exclusive/sole distributorship.

Q: What's the warranty on each product and Who's handling the warranty issue? 
 A:  Depending on the products you are interested in, it ranges from minimum of 1 year to 10 years warranty. 
       The warranty will be handled by us (PT. Global Khatulistiwa International), we are the one who is going to 
       inspect the damaged/broken product to determine the cause of the failure and eligibility for 
       repair/replacement under the warranty policy.

Q:  How does the warranty work?
 A:  The warranty only applies to certain products and customers. All of the items/products must have
       been purchased through one of our agents, sales representatives, or authorized retailers have to be registered
       within 14 days of purchase, no exceptions! We will not honor the warranty, IF you do not register with us 
       within 14 days of purchase. It's easy, all you have to do is either mail the warranty card to the address was
       given, submit through our online "Warranty Registration" link. If you have questions, please feel free
       to contact us at anytime.

Q: Who does the installation?
 A:  Depending on the products you are going to purchase, some products such as InSinKerator, for current 
       promotion and for individual customer, PT. Global Khatulistiwa International is the one going to do the 
       installation.

Q: What are the requirements to become an agent or sales representative?
 A:  Easy, depending on the position you are interested in, the basic requirement is has to be honest, work 
       hard, the willingness for making a lot of money! and please see the careers link for more 
       detailed information.

Q: Where to buy your products?
 A: Currently we have a few agents/sales located in Jakarta, Tangerang, Surabaya. We are still looking agents -
      sales representatives in other cities. To get details locations, please see Locations link for each city.

Q: What is your refund policy?
A:  In general we don't offer refund, however, in under circumstances, and to satisfy our customers, we can 
      refund the individual customer, subject to inspections and 20% restocking fee.

Q: How the InSinkerator products work? 
A: Please download this attachment file (pdf), it shows how the machine works and functionalities of it. If you 
     still have further questions, please contact us.

Q: How the OneLink Smoke Detector works?
A: In general the Basic Smoke Detector works to detect the particles/smoke cause by fire. The OneLink 
     Smoke Detector comes with the wireless technology where each smoke detector can signaling each other,
     to detect the fire from distance range and also capable tell you the location of the fire.

Q: I need to Import and/or Export product(s) to Indonesia and/or other countries, can you assist me?
A: Yes, we have a complete license in doing Import/Export to/from Indonesia. Nevertheless, occasionally, we 
     need to have a special permit for certain products. Please let us know if you have further questions.
